[Lui Kung Tin Birdwatching Tour]
Winter birdwatching activities are kicking off!
The first tour will take us to Lui Kung Tin, a birdwatching paradise located in the northeast of the Tai Lam Country Park. With its dense and open woodlands, Lui Kung Tin is perfect for observing a variety of forest birds like flycatchers and may even spot migrating raptors!

Time: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Lui Kung Tin
Fee: Members $350, Non-members $450
Quota: 20 people (first come, first served)
Target Audience: Public aged 12 and above (Participants aged 12 to 15 must be accompanied by a parent)
Difficulty: 3/5 stars (suitable for those with birdwatching experience)
Route: Lui Kung Tin Trail (primarily flat with some slopes and steps; the instructor may adjust the route as needed)
Meeting Point: Lui Kung Tin Road Entrance (Minibus Stop #72)
Note: Participants have to bring their own binoculars.
- If the Hong Kong Observatory issues an amber, red, or black rainstorm signal or a tropical cyclone warning signal no. 3 or above two hours before the event assembly time, the activity will be canceled. If a tropical cyclone warning signal no. 1 and a thunderstorm warning are in effect, the decision to change or cancel the event will be made based on the actual situation.
