We are very sorry to announce that our Vice-President Dr. Ng Cho-Nam passed away on 13 Dec 2019. Dr. Ng was the Associate Professor of Department of Geography, University of Hong Kong. He started bird watching with inspirations from Mr. Lam Chiu-ying and later served as Vice-President of the Society. Dr Ng devoted his whole life to nature conservation. Unfortunately, he was admitted to hospital after a stroke and passed away on 13 Dec 2019. HKBWS would like to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Ng for his dedication in bird conservation and our sincere condolences to his family.
