The Hong Kong Bird Watching Society (collectively referred to as "we" or the "HKBWS"). We own and operate the site HKBWS eShop (referred to as “our site”). Our site provides a convenient way to customers to purchase our products online (referred to as "Service"). Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before using our site. By using our site, you agree to be constrained by these terms and conditions. We would update these terms and conditions from time to time, the revised terms will be effective immediately after publishing on our site.
1. Registration
You will be asked if you wish to register with HKBWS eShop. By registering, you are making a statement, upon which we are entitled to rely, that you are aged 18 years or above and capable of forming a legally binding contract, and undertake that:
- you have registered using true, accurate and up-to-date Personal Information;
- you have registered with your own Personal Information and not that of any other person; and
- you would inform us immediately once there is any change or updates in your Personal Information, so that we can ensure this remains true, accurate and up-to-date.
2. Payment
HKBWS only accepts PayPal and credit card, and orders will be charged in Hong Kong dollars.
HKBWS reserves the right to change any payment terms for any order without prior notice.
3. Delivery
HKBWS uses S.F. Express and Hong Kong Post to provide a reliable, highly efficient and cost effective delivery service.
You shall ensure that any person or an authorized person is able to receive the order at the specified time of delivery at the specified address.
Delivery services may be delayed due to public holidays, heavy rainstorm and bad weather.
4. Force Majeure
If HKBWS is prevented in the performance of the services offered on our site by reason of act of God, fire, flood, casualty, accident or other natural disaster, strikes, labour disputes, shortage of labour or lack of skilled labour, shortage or unavailability of products or raw materials, delay in transit or other causes that beyond the reasonable control of HKBWS, HKBWS shall be excused from such performance to the extent of such prevention.
5. Return and Refund
Should there be any problems of the products, please inform HKBWS immediately after receiving the products. Requests for replacement or refund would only be considered within 7 working days after delivery, and you shall:
- come to HKBWS office with the products during our opening hours; or
- return the products to HKBWS office by mail, while customers is responsible for the postage.
All returned products must be consistence with the invoice, including but not limited to quantity, packaging and accessories. Otherwise, there is no replacements or refunds.
Product photos on our site are for reference only, and may deviate from the actual products due to the quality of the photos. Such deviations, if any, do not act as a ground for replacement and refund.
All return and refund requests are subject to the final decision of HKBWS.
6. Disclaimer
HKBWS shall not be responsible for and disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss, damage, personal injury or expense of any nature whatsoever which may be suffered by you, as the result of any direct or indirect attribution of your access to our site and the content.

The Hong Kong Bird Watching Society owns the copyrights of our site and all contents on our site. Any reproduction or use of any of the contents of our site without the prior written permission of HKBWS is prohibited.
