與有需要的朋友分享我們與元朗大生圍漁民合作飼養的「生態魚」!
香港觀鳥會今年再次與元朗大生圍漁民合作飼養「生態魚」，預計於今年11月推出巿場。除了零售之外，我們繼續舉辦愛心魚，與有需要朋友分享生態魚，藉此向公眾及社會各界推廣鳥類保育的工作。
Eco-fish is reared again this year with the cooperation with fish farmers at Tai Sang Wai and it is predicted that Eco-fish will be available in November. Besides purchasing Eco-fish at retail stores, you can support us by making donation to the "Eco-fish for All" programme, which is an "Eco-fish" donation campaign aiming at promoting bird conversation and Eco-fish for all.
你可以以個人名義，捐款$300 給香港觀鳥會，我們便會透過伙伴機構，將約10斤的「生態魚」送予有需要的朋友當中（如老友記、無家者等等），請支持我們既的保育及又慈善的「愛心烏頭大行動」。
If you donate $300 we will send 10 catty of "Eco-fish" to minories. Do not miss the chance to greets your friends with this meaningful "Eco-fish".
所有捐贈的生態魚都來自香港魚塘生態保育計劃當中的生態友善魚塘。
「取於自然．用於自然」，無論種米或養魚，我們相信人類並不是唯一享用者，動物亦應得益，因此本會以生態友善管理魚塘及飼養淡水魚：
1/ 不驅趕雀鳥：過境度冬候鳥或本地留鳥(如大白鷺、小白鷺) 都可以在魚塘棲息、覓食。
2/ 符合動物福利：飼養的生態魚在生長期間擁有更多空間，這跟原來著重經濟效益的生產方式顯著不同。
3/ 健康自然：我們採用天然米糠及粟粉餵飼「生態魚」，符合市民日漸注重飲食健康的綠色生活。
"Eco-fish" donated are raised under "Hong Kong Fishpond Conservation Scheme", we believe that we are not the only users to any natural resources, those "eco-fish" should be shared to animals and anyone.
Eco-fish is raised:
1/ Bird friendly: No matter resident birds or wintering birds can enjoy great fresh healthy "Eco-fish" freely.
2/ Better Animal Welfare condition: We establish Low-density fish farming, so that fishes we raise enjoy more space, which will make them healthier.
3/ Healthy and natural environment: we do not feed our fishes medicine or anitibiotics to enhance the healthy standard but adopt Low-density farming.
